drawing from treasure

one day drawing project with helen carnac, aim was to document charles I ring exactly and to distort its size to reveal elements previously unseen..
was interesting to work with such a large scale drawing, changed my way of working and explored a new element to project

one day project

drawing/designing workshop from newspapers with tim carson...

using newspapers, drawing and joining media to start, selected one word 'storm' to design ten rings and neckpieces, created three dimensional pieces influenced by 'layering', drew objects into two dimensional forms and abstracted to create new set of designs. enjoyable to work in such a quick and productive way and to know that all imagination is not lost!
